Happy 70th Birthday

A recent commission was for a 70th birthday.

They are a huge fan of David Bowie.

I completed the mosaic at the beginning of July and posted the mosaic to his partner.

She let me know that it had been received safe and sound and that David was now under the bed in the spare room!

On his birthday, I asked his partner the question, the scary and risky question.

“Did he like it?”.

The reply came back – “He didn’t like it”,

…. Oh! no! I thought …and then, 

the reply continued and she said

” he absolutely loved it”.

This was now the time for me to smile, I am was so pleased.

This was a “Definitely a hit!”.
