An Egyptian Eye
Although I do produce mosaics of general images and scenes most of the work is commissioned by my customers who would like something a little unusual and personal to themselves.
Such is the case with this commission. An Egyptian Eye.
The only criteria was that it had to be blue, purple and sparkly. In the picture below the surround looks black but it is actually a beautiful dark purple.
The Eye of Horus is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, royal power and good health.
The symbol has Arithmetic values and is explained on the pages of Wikipedia.
